Job Role: Liability Ops Head

Function: Central Operations

Reporting to COO - Operations

Location : Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

The liability ops head is responsible for managing all the central processes related to liability accounts and treasury backend operations of the banks. The main responsibilities include: -

- Designing the processes related to liability operations including cheque processing and cash mgmt. operations.

- Work with IT / digital team to automate the various task involved

- Identify, justify, and support new projects related to the overall improvement of liability and treasury Operations, serving as a key stakeholder for all aspects of project life cycle (design, development, testing and implementation)

- Supervise the central team managing account opening, SR processing including the CKYC and RE-KYC processing for the bank customers and deliverables mgmt.

- Handle the treasury backend operations

- Manage the CTS cheque processing, cash mgmt. for branches and the recon function of the bank

- Vendor mgmt. for the outsourced activities

Educational Qualification and Experience level

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree/PG, and or equivalent industry experience.

Experience: 15+ years related payment operations experience.

Technical competencies

- In depth knowledge of all relevant banking and regulatory rules and policies.

- Good experience in cheque processing, cash mgmt.

- Ability to analyse, assess, design, and adjust process flow and the related quality and efficiency impacts.

- Ability to develop new policies and procedures in response to, and in anticipation of, changes in the business and regulatory environment.
