- The current position is for a Head-Legal who will work as a part of the corporate team.
- The Legal team supports various business functions in terms of drafting, review, negotiation and finalization of commercial contracts including information technology, real estate, intellectual property, marketing, branding etc.
- The candidate will be required to have flexible working hours and should be willing and able to travel for business purposes and to attend to litigation.
- The Head-Legal reports into to the CEO and closely advises on business and strategic initiatives of the organization.
- The candidate will also be required to closely monitor litigation across the country and is also responsible for the performance of lawyers, hiring of law firms, assigning cases, managing a budget, cost control, providing legal inputs and solutions to business challenges as well as execution of decisions personally while mentoring a team of reportees.
- Hands-on experience with independently handling matters relating to various litigation in different courts and forums across the country.
- Ability to independently analyze and implement decisions in keeping with company policies.
- Independent liaison with the relevant business and corporate divisions. Strong follow-up skills.
- Provide commercially savvy legal advice on a variety of matters. Tailor make legal solutions for business challenges.
- Timely closure and senior management reporting of matters. Experience in managing a team and multitasking.
