CTC: 35 lacs to 45 lacs PA
Job Description:
- Perform due-diligence and legal risk assessment for specific projects as necessary
- Formulate effective legal risk management tools in order to enhance compliance and mitigate risks
- Judge the level of seriousness of legal compliance issues, mitigating actions required and appraises the central leadership team on the level to which it must be elevated
- Identify, diagnose and resolve essential compliance changes to deliver the required levels of assurance
- Design the Legal roadmap for The organization in conjunction with the Central Leadership Team
- Identify and implement legal policies and procedures and cascade them to the entire organization
- Review and provide legal advice on all contractual agreements involving own and third parties
- Liaise with departments to ensure identifications of legal risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies and solutions.
- Provide and interpret legal information, conduct training and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to the entire organization
- Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
- Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
- Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external lawyers.
- Formulate compliance check-lists to be used for the purpose of ensuring that all information required is provided accordingly.
- Continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the department for executive management meetings.
- Review all contracts or any other documentation where the company has committed itself and assess legal implications that need to be brought to the executive management’s attention.
- Prepare, review and modify contractual instruments to assist and support various business activities.
- Negotiate, review and draft documentation for business transactions and prepare and advise on the necessary checklist to be adopted to ensure information is submitted on time.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in Legal function of similar industry
Supervisory responsibilities:
- Teams reporting to the Head Legal includes the legal functional team
- Department size: Approximately 1 to 2 direct reports

Minimum qualifications:
Education: Post Graduate degree in Law with experience the Indian legal system / environment
