Job Summary :
A candidate for this position must have had at least 8+ years of working experience in a Corporate Legal domain and Risk Management. A suitable candidate should have proven experience in relationship management and a demonstrated ability to lead a Risk and Legal team and develop talents that subsequently drive value across the business.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Establish appropriate ERM framework including risk policies, metrics, reporting and monitoring.
- Identifying and analyzing various risks (e.g. business, financial, operational etc).
- Developing risk management controls and contingency plans.
- Ensures alignment of Risk Management with Corporate Strategy.
- Conduct assessments to define and analyze possible risks
- Support Senior Management and the Board/Audit Committee (AC) in ensuring that risks are mitigated to the desired level.
- Ensures that the Risk Management Framework facilitates continuous improvement of SBISG's capabilities for management of its top priority risks.
- Provides Assurance that communication plan for Risk Management are both coherent and capably executed.
- Identify and communicate any control issues, process inefficiencies, or operational risks and recommend appropriate solutions
- Responsible for timely submission of any IT risk issues / observation for supervisory review.
- Provide knowledge and guidance of SEBI laws, rules, and regulations related to IT controls and ensure compliance thereof.
- Remain abreast of emerging trends and best practices in the industry.
- Advise, represent and counsel the company's senior management, board of directors & other stakeholders on proper course of action with regard to legal matters.
- Monitor and review risk, legal and related policies and procedures within the organisation and ensure adherence to desired standards
- Ensure agreement, contracts, SLAs, etc. meet the regulatory and legal requirements.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Senior Executive with 15+ years of experience in Risk Management & Legal
- Thorough understanding of Information Security framework
- Previous experience of reporting to Board or Senior Management Committee
- Ability to work with all levels of management
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding of policies and best practices of risk management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- Basic: Graduation for reputed University
- Preferred: MBA, FRM, CISA, LLM/LLB, etc.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
