Candidate Responsibilities :
Support businesses in various legal entities in India
- Ensuring all contracts, agreements, transactions and activities are consistent with Indian laws and relevant applicable regulation and company policies.
- Litigation Management
- All employee related issues including and not limited to employee benefits, employee policies, performance management issues and matters relating to employee discipline.
Ideal Candidates :
- Should be an LLB or LLM from Top Indian/Foreign Schools
- 12+ years post qualification experience required. In- house experience preferably in Big Indian or Multinational Firm.
- In-depth understanding of Indian labor laws/practices and extensive experience in dealing with various employment matters including labor disputes.
- Strong knowledge of local Indian laws touching relevant issues.
- Possess strong business acumen to work with business partners to find solutions to meet business needs whilst maintaining legal compliance.
- Ability to think critically and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work under pressure. Organized and focused; Good time management skills
- Works alone effectively (or with minimal supervision) on complex projects that require abstract strategies or creative reasoning.
