One of leading service providing company in construction is looking for Legal Head.

Job Position: Legal Head.

Department: Legal.

Qualification: LLB / LLM.

Experience: 15 to 20 years.

Job Location: Vapi.

Reporting To: CEO / MD.

Job Brief.

The Legal Head will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the company and handling all legal issues of Organization(Major Civil).

Responsibilities.

- Provide legal counsel and support to the company on all legal matters related to the Business and industry, including business transactions, agreements, land and Machinery use and zoning regulations, and Business development.

- Experience in handling land Revenue matters.

- Represent the company in legal proceedings with District/High Court and SSRD.

- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to business and operations.

- Advise on legal risks and provide recommendations to mitigate and manage potential legal issues.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation, as necessary.

- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the industry.

- Collaborate with internal departments, external legal counsel, and regulatory authorities to address legal matters and ensure business objectives are met.

- Manage and supervise legal staff, including attorneys and paralegals, as well as external legal consultants and specialists.

Requirement & Skills:

- LLB/LLM degree from an accredited law school and active membership in a state bar association.

- Need to have extensive experience handling land disputes and land-related cases in court.

- Need to have prior experience leading a legal team.

- Excellent court craft skills.

- Proven track record of providing legal counsel and support to companies or related industries.

- Comprehensive knowledge of business laws, regulations, and industry practices.

- Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proven leadership and management abilities.
