Head - Legal - Chemical/Pharmaceutical Business - LLB/LLM

Looking for candidates from only the Chemical OR Pharma Industry.

Position: Head Legal

Working Days: 5 days working in a week.

Role & responsibilities:

- Leading and managing the organization's legal functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, mitigating legal risks, and supporting business objectives.

- Litigation and non-litigation legal matters, advising senior management, managing external legal counsel, and developing strategies to protect the organization's interests.

- Develop and implement legal strategies.

- Legal representative in discussions with government agencies and other external stakeholders.

- Litigation Management-all litigation and dispute resolution matters, including civil, commercial, labor, and regulatory cases.

- Non-Litigation Legal Matters -Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MoUs, and other legal documents to protect the organization's interests.

- Identify legal risks and implement mitigation strategies.

- Develop and update legal policies, procedures, and guidelines.

- Educate employees on legal and regulatory changes affecting the business.

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of legal professionals to ensure high performance and continuous development.

- In-depth knowledge of corporate law, contract law, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM).

- 15+ years of experience in corporate legal functions, including both litigation and non-litigation roles.
