Head - Legal Roles and responsibilities: - Work on litigation, non-litigation matters concerning the Group - Apply structured problem-solving skills in either role (litigation team & Non-litigation team) to create organizational value. - Due diligence of lands and structuring of acquisitions - Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing documentation related to the investments, including structuring and negotiating investor rights, exit options, etc. - Lead strategic initiatives to streamline operations across legal - Vetting of documents such as Agreements for Sale, Leave & License Agreements, Lease Agreements, Development Agreements, Deeds of Conveyance, Tenancy Agreements, Deeds of Gift, Wills and Codicil, Documents related to the Mortgage Hypothecation Pledge, Power Of Attorney, Affidavit, and other litigation documents. - Identify potential improvement areas for the functions plan and lead efforts to implement solutions. - Report effectively to and attend various Group Committees and Boards as required; - Ensure regular Legal and functional team meetings are run, focusing on knowledge-sharing, practical actions arising, and team development. - Ensure that you and your team fully understand and comply with the organization's Risk Management policies related to your area of responsibility and demonstrated in your day-to-day work. - Ensure that you and your functional team fully understand and comply with the organization's Data Governance Policies as they relate to your area of responsibility and demonstrate in your day-to-day work that you treat data as an important corporate asset that must be protected and managed.
