Head - Learning & Organization Development - Global MNC
Reporting to Director - Human Resources
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and organization development strategy aligned with the company's vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify organizational needs and design initiatives that support business goals and drive organizational change.
Learning and Development:
- Oversee the creation, implementation, and evaluation of training and development programs that address skill gaps and enhance employee competencies.
- Implement and manage leadership development programs to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
- Promote and facilitate learning opportunities, including workshops, seminars, e-learning, and on-the-job training.
Organizational Development:
- Design and implement programs to improve organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and team performance.
- Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformation and ensure smooth transitions.
- Conduct organizational assessments and leverage data to drive continuous improvement.
Talent Management:
- Develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning, career development, and performance management.
- Work closely with HR business partners to address talent needs and build a strong talent pipeline.
Culture and Engagement:
- Foster a positive organizational culture that aligns with company values and enhances employee satisfaction and retention
- Drive initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the budget for learning and organization development programs, ensuring effective use of resources and alignment with financial constraints.
- Oversee the selection and management of external vendors and training providers.
- Metrics and Reporting
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on program outcomes, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Compliance and Best Practices
- Ensure all learning and development programs comply with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the learning and development framework.
Candidate profile:
- Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is additional advantage.
- Certifications Professional certifications in learning and development, organizational development, or human resources (e.g., CPLP, SHRMSCP, SPHR) are advantageous.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing effective learning and development programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of change management principles and practices.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making and measure program effectiveness.
- Experience in managing budgets and external vendors.
