We are looking experienced and strategic Head of Learning and Development to lead the learning and development function of a Very Large Conglomerate based out of Kolkata . The incumbent will design, implement, and evaluate learning programs that align with the business objectives, drive employee growth, and enhance organizational performance. The incumbent should be well versed with Digitization and e learning practices .
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with business goals
- Lead and manage the learning and development team
- Design and deliver training programs for employees at all levels
- Identify skill gaps and develop programs to address them
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand learning needs and preferences
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Learning Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Leadership Development: Design and deliver leadership development programs for senior leaders and high-potentials.
- Talent Development: Create and implement programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee capabilities.
- Training Delivery: Oversee the design and delivery of training programs across the organization.
- Learning Technology: Manage learning management systems and other learning technologies.
- Evaluation and Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure learning effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Manage the L&D budget and ensure effective resource allocation.
Qualifications :
- MBA in HR from a Reputed Institute ( TIER 1 /Tier2)
- 15 to 20 years of experience in learning and development
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful learning programs
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and drive results
Key skills :
- Digitization of the entire L&D Vertical.
- Experience with learning management systems and technology
- Certification in instructional design or a related field
- Familiarity with data analytics and metrics
