Location Hyderabad (should be open to travel/relocate)

1. POSITION OVERVIEW

The group is launching cutting-edge Datacentres with advanced capabilities for executing Hybrid Cloud, Multi-Cloud and Private Cloud solutions, along with associated Managed Services. We are on a mission to deliver top-tier IT infrastructure solutions and are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of IT - Datacentre to lead our IT operations and play a pivotal role in shaping our success.

We are looking for a highly skilled and forward-thinking individual to take on the role of Head of IT - Datacentre. This position is crucial for the development and execution of our Datacentre strategies, with a strong focus on Datacentre migration, hyperscaler cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud architectures.

The successful candidate will be a technology evangelist who can drive innovation while on-boarding new customers, solutions, and partners. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, strong partnership management, the ability to represent the company at technology events, and exceptional team management skills.

2. JOB PURPOSE

The incumbent should possess the experience and expertise to provide detailed electrical design to meet the customer objectives and to advise the Company. He/She shall provide his expertise in the (but not limited to) below areas:

- Designing detailed IT Landscape for Enterprise/Colo & Hyper scale customers in line with Customer requirements/objectives

- Creation of Overall IT Architecture including Network Architecture of On-Prem and Cloud deployments, Technical Specifications.

- Solution/Product Technical Evaluation of OEMs/Vendors with POC/Demo of solution.

- Managing relations with Consultants/PMC. Establish and manage strong partnerships with technology vendors, cloud providers, and other relevant industry partners.

- Work closely with Project team during implementation

- Monitor the quality and progress of works at site

- Creation of cost estimates for entire IT System

- Lead the overall team of overall IT Systems design & project delivery

- Train and Enable the operations team

- Cyber Security Solution understanding and effective threat management

- Data Center Automation solution design and deployment.

- Support operations team with RCA in case of failures in IT systems

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and execute Datacentre strategies that align with the company's objectives, focusing on migration, hyperscaler cloud, private cloud, multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.

- Provide technical leadership and expertise in all aspects of Datacentre operations, including infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.

- Lead the on-boarding process for new customers, ensuring smooth integration of their IT infrastructure into our Datacentres.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative IT solutions that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.

- Drive the development and delivery of Hybrid Cloud, Multi-Cloud and Private Cloud solutions, providing thought leadership in these areas.

- Oversee the delivery of managed services to our customers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

- Represent the company at technology conferences, industry events, and meetings with potential clients and partners.

- Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

4. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

- Strong background and knowledge/experience in Global Networking Standards, AWS, Azure, Google cloud Architectures.

- Proven experience in Designing of IT Systems including Passive, Active and IT Systems for Large Enterprise Datacenters

- Proven track record of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Proven track record of ISAT, Project Delivery in Datacenters

- Deep understanding of Data Center's IT and Non-IT solution deployment

- DC & DR Drill, Cyber Security implementation experience for Data Center.

- Proven track record in creation/submission of required documentation for relevant ISO certifications for IT, Network systems.

5. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

- 15+ years of experience working in Enterprise/Cloud/Colo Datacenters with a focus on hyperscaler cloud, private cloud, multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.

- Should have certifications from Azure/Google/AWS; Networking certifications

- Strong understanding of Datacentre migration strategies and best practices.

- Hands-on technical expertise with a deep knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies.
