We are a rapidly growing company in the consumer durables service space. Present in 225 locations across India we have a 400 strong in-house team and 600 executives on contract through our franchisees. We are authorized service vendors for leading retailers and brands. Over a million homes in India have used our services.

India has over 175 million households with some sort of electronic / electrical appliance. But in the event of a problem there is no single organized and reliable entity that one can approach for service. Jeeves aims to be the company to approach should you have a problem with any product, any brand anywhere in India. We are looking for a Head IT and Resource Management who shares our passion for consumer service, sees the huge opportunity that exists in the consumer service space and the unique position we are in to build a strong service focused organization supported by a strong technology backbone and processes and systems.

Position: Head: IT and Resource Management

Job Description: IT strategy software and hardware planning and management for the organization’s business needs.

The project stakeholders, include

- Account Manager

- Operations teams

- Outsourced Vendor Project Manager

The role would involve

- Evolve IT strategy with company’s Business plan

- Define technical vision for the various projects

- Define architectural and design principles and requirements

- Assesses technical feasibility of business requirements and drive non functional requirements

- Engage with service providers for requirements and system conceptualization

- Identify integrated new technologies for Internet – Transactional front end, CRM integration, Extranet sites for partners, that would allow bringing in new customer experience and additional revenue.

- Ensures solutions being built are congruent with vision. Define milestones, quality expectations (user experience, performance) throughout the entire system or software development life cycle.

- Upon establishment of mile stones ensure Execution focus to verify the fulfillment of system requirements. Drive User acceptance and Sign off User to ensure planned goals have been met for Go Live

- Identify roadmap for new areas and align the IT strategy

- Identify and manage hardware related strategy and resources

Experience: 7-10 years of hands on IT architecture, web site development , and IT integration using proven technologies - .Net, Java or equivalent

- Experience on Architecture development, business analysis, roll outs, software maintenance for an Enterprise wide deployment

- Hands on Application development experience to understand complexities, validate effort estimates

- Web site designing

- Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, propose Solution ideas from Business requirements

- Organizational skills, to work with the vast array of information flows, business goals and cope with very dynamic market environment.

- Interpersonal skills - negotiate priorities, resolve conflicts of project stakeholders.

Performance Measures:

- Project budget and cost within 5% overrun, Meet signed off time lines

- Meet quality goals, Control of cost overruns

- Evangelize and implement new ideas that are aligned to business goals
