Mission of the Function

Responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities in Vision Iberia, help to determinate IT needs and be responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill information systems requirements.

The scope of an IT manager's responsibilities varies. Focus on computer networks, managing production IT systems and other electronic support systems related to the company operations.

Main Tasks

1. Manage information technology and computer systems

2. Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services

3. Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations

4. Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance

5. Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures

6. Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems

7. Act in alignment with business units needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy

8. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time

9. Audit systems and assess their outcomes

10. Preserve and control assets, information security and control structures

11. Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs

12. Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness

13. Cooperate with CIT related tasks
