Head IT Procurement

Develop and implement sourcing Strategies for IT procurement Category for the group.

1. Lead Strategic Planning for Specific Categories :

- Support Services head in developing Strategic Plan for Procurement by providing strategic inputs relating to IT procurement category

- Develop Annual Requirements Plan for IT procurement

- Support Services Head in developing Annual Operating Plan for Services by providing inputs relating to IT procurement

2. Lead Strategic Sourcing Activities :

- Lead the definition of category strategy by conducting in-depth analysis and creating expert points of view

- Provide guidance to Category Buyers & Sourcing Analysts for Industry analysis & Supply Market & Spend Analysis

- Identify and introduce new capable domestic and global suppliers. Manage global vendor database for IT procurement

3. Lead Strategic Sourcing Activities :

- Act as a single point relationship manager to the category suppliers for all businesses

- Track supplier performance through periodic inputs from the project procurement team & provide timely and appropriate feedback to suppliers

- Identify supplier development opportunities and lead development efforts

- Ensure and coordinate timely supplier payments to maintain relationship as appropriate

4. Lead Supplier Relationship Management / Development Activities :

- Track user compliance of rate contracts and other processes related to IT procurement

- Track the evolution of internal customers' needs

5. Manage Internal Customer Needs :

- Manage team of buyers & analysts and be accountable for the overall spend of the category

- Ensure effective performance management of the team: set objectives, provide feedback and coaching and define individual development needs .
