Job Summary:
The IT Head is responsible for overseeing the entire IT function within the organization, with a particular focus on SAP HANA and various SAP modules. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, websites, physical assets, and non-SAP SaaS platforms. The IT Head will ensure the alignment of IT strategies with business objectives in the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP HANA and SAP Modules:
- Lead the implementation, integration, and management of SAP HANA and other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD, PP, FICO).
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of SAP systems.
- Oversee SAP system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Provide strategic direction and support for SAP-related projects.
2. IT Infrastructure:
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centres.
- Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data.
- Oversee the implementation of IT policies and procedures.
3. Cloud Solutions:
- Lead the adoption and management of cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Ensure efficient cloud resource utilization and cost management.
- Oversee cloud migration projects and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
4. Websites and Digital Platforms:
- Manage the development, maintenance, and optimization of the company's websites.
- Ensure a user-friendly, secure, and up-to-date online presence.
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives and SEO strategies.
5. Physical Assets Management:
- Oversee the management of physical IT assets, including hardware and software inventory.
- Ensure timely procurement, deployment, and maintenance of IT assets.
- Implement asset tracking and management systems.
6. Non-SAP SaaS Platforms:
- Manage the integration and administration of non-SAP SaaS platforms.
- Ensure interoperability between various software solutions.
- Oversee vendor relationships and contract negotiations for SaaS solutions.
7. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
- Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the business.
- Lead IT budgeting and resource allocation.
8. Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.
- Ensure the IT team is equipped with the necessary skills and tools.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT management, with a strong background in SAP HANA and SAP modules - PP, MM, FICO, SD, WMS.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud solutions.
- Experience with website management and digital marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in managing physical IT assets and non-SAP SaaS platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to align IT strategies with business objectives in a manufacturing environment.
