Job Description - Manage and lead overall IT for all logistics operations in India in line with global policies and procedures

A large Europe based Logistics company with a large presence in India

Description

- Manage and head overall IT operations for India for enabling end-to-end logistics processes and systems

- Provide sound leadership and management for all aspects of IT strategy, development and implementation including infra, help desk, network, security, compliance, systems applications, risk management and financial technology

- Prepare, propose and manage IT budget and expenses

- Leverage best technology practices in all areas of business and integrate new technological advancements in a cost optimised manner

- Manage IT Audits and adhere to all policies in line with India and global compliance

- Enable process improvements

- Team management and driving projects

- Multiple (and senior) stakeholder management (internal and external) and contributing to strategic business solutions and decisions

Profile

- Currently in an IT Leadership/decision making role, with 12-18 years overall experience

- Coming from a logistics industry with sound knowledge of the relevant technologies

- Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders across regions and divisions and contribute towards business decisions and strategies

- Working with external clients and providing business solutions from IT perspective

- Understanding and executing best practices, new technological advancements in a cost optimised manner

- Location: Mumbai (most preferred)
