Head - IT Infrastructure & Security - BFSI

Role: IT Infrastructure & Security Head

Role purpose :

- Manage IT Infrastructure & Security Operations and Lead the Infrastructure Transformation initiatives to complement the Application technology roadmap. Responsible to review appropriate technology solutions, comprising Network & Security Solutions/Appliances, Servers, Storage, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure enabling optimal Hybrid setup. Manage & Support end-user computing needs apart from Data Center, Network, Security operations with a proven track record on Managing IT Infrastructure & Support Operations through a Managed Services Provider.

Responsibilities:

- Technology leadership role helping choose appropriate Technology solutions/platforms for the company, managing the operations through the Managed Service provider and liaise with the Audit, Risk, CISO, Procurement and Other Business teams for maintaining a strong Governance lead Operations. 

Responsibility areas include:

- Strategize and Manage IT Operations comprising of End User, Application L1 & L2 support, DC, DR, Cloud, Network, Storage, Security and SOC operations through a Manage Services Partner for IT Operations support

- Assistance, Deployment & Security Review of Infrastructure and Application solutions

- Manage connectivity between Office locations, DR, DC, Cloud, Vendors and Partners

- Help evaluate, choose and deploy appropriate new technology platforms by alignment with laid out a Procurement process

- Reporting and Delivering on IT Operational KPIs with periodic reviews with the leadership team

- Planning and Alignment of IT Infrastructure and Security Support Operations on IT Application Security review, L3 support, UAT, Dev and New solutions evaluations

- Planning & Alignment with Business stakeholders for business support required in regular and specific events

- Responsible for facing External and Internal Audits and Maintaining strong Governance and Compliance in IT Operations

- Alignment with the CISO and Risk team for evaluation, approvals of New solution and maintaining a strong security posture through Information Security and SOC Operations

- Maintaining and Updating the IT Policies and Procedures to align with the environmental changes and Agreed processes

- Requisite alignment with Shareholding Banks IT Team, Business Partners and Vendors for IT Infrastructure and Operations Architecture alignment and support

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technology leadership roles with consumer-facing businesses, managing 1 Infrastructure Operations and Security.

Desired characteristics :

- Experience with complex technology environments

- Experience into managing IT Infrastructure management at leading BFSI or related organizations.

- Experience with networking, storage, virtualization, cloud technologies

- Ability to manage teams, partner with stakeholders

- Keen awareness of new technologies and applicability in the business context
