Head - IT Infrastructure Projects & Patching

Job Summary:

- The IT Infrastructure Projects and Patching Head is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of IT Infrastructure Projects and the patch management processes.

- This role ensures that IT projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.

- Additionally, the role is responsible for ensuring that all systems and applications are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates to mitigate security risks and maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:.

IT Infrastructure Management:.

- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and data centers.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of IT infrastructure to support business operations.

- Micro-segmentation, SD WAN Rollouts, ensuring quality of service, NAC, DAM, Netscope management.

- Oversee the management of cloud infrastructure and services.

Project Management:.

- Plan, execute, and monitor IT infrastructure projects like application roll outs, BAU updates, New branch roll out etc from initiation to completion.

- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project management best practices.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

Patching and Update Management:.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive patch management strategy for all IT systems and applications.

- Ensure timely and efficient deployment of patches and updates to mitigate security vulnerabilities and enhance system performance.

- Monitor and report on patch compliance and effectiveness.

- Collaborate with the information security team to address any identified vulnerabilities.

Compliance:.

- Maintain key IT Infra Policies and Compliances.

- Manage regulatory reporting and facing internal and external audits.

- EOL/EOS management for physical devices, OS middleware and database.

Team Leadership and Development:.

- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and project managers.

- Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
