Job Summary:
The Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations is responsible for the strategic planning, management, and execution of all IT infrastructure and operations functions. This role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT systems, including data centers, network infrastructure, cloud environments, cybersecurity, and end-user support services. The position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of IT operations, and the ability to align IT infrastructure with the organization's business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
- Develop and execute the IT infrastructure strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead the IT infrastructure and operations team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that drive business growth and efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on infrastructure projects and initiatives.
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including data centers, networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of IT systems to meet current and future business needs.
- Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure the organization's data and systems are protected against outages and data loss.
- Optimize the performance of IT infrastructure through capacity planning, performance monitoring, and regular system upgrades.
Operations Management:
- Ensure the effective operation of IT services, including service desk, end-user support, and IT service management (ITSM).
- Develop and implement operational policies, processes, and standards that align with best practices (e.g., ITIL).
- Manage the IT operations budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services while meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor and manage IT infrastructure performance, availability, and security to ensure high levels of service delivery.
Cybersecurity and Compliance:
- Implement and oversee the organization's cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and IT assets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Manage security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk management processes.
- Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
Cloud and Data Center Management:
- Lead the migration and management of on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Oversee the management of data centers, ensuring high availability, redundancy, and scalability of IT services.
- Optimize cloud and data center operations for cost, performance, and sustainability.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with key technology vendors, negotiating contracts, service level agreements, and pricing.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business units, to understand their IT needs and ensure timely and effective delivery of services.
- Review and select new technologies and vendors that align with the organization's strategic goals.
Team Development and Management:
- Build and mentor a high-performing IT infrastructure and operations team, providing career development opportunities and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Define and review key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage staffing, training, and development of the IT infrastructure team to meet the demands of the business.
