Head - IT - Consumer Durable Industry

Hiring for a Head IT for one of our client a leading brand in Consumer Durable industry.

Position Summary

Position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of an organizations information technology infrastructure, including strategy development, system implementation, network management, security, team leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives and optimal technology utilization across the company.

Role & Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

- Defining the overall IT vision and roadmap, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.

- Anticipate emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization.

- Consider scalability, security, and efficiency

Team Leadership:

- Managing and developing a team of IT professionals across various functions like network administration, system support, software development and security.

- Set objectives and evaluate team performance and foster the culture of innovation

System implementation:

- Leading the evaluation, selection, and deployment of new hardware and software systems.

- Collaboration with senior management to identify technology needs and opportunities.

- Manage projects related to the implementation of new systems and technologies as per the business needs

Infrastructure management:

- Ensuring the stability and performance of IT infrastructure, including data centers, data storage, networks, and servers.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department.

- Identify vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement

- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans

Cybersecurity:

- Implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive data and mitigate cyber threats.

Budget & Vendor management:

- Overseeing IT budget allocation and cost optimization.

- Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with technology vendors.

Compliance:

- Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and data privacy standards.
