Key Objectives of the Job:
Incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with the investment community, shareholders, and analysts. Will play a critical role in communicating the organization's financial performance, strategy, and key messages to external stakeholders. This position requires excellent communication skills, financial expertise, and the ability to effectively represent the company to the investment community.
Responsibilities:
Investor Relations Strategy:
- Develop and execute the investor relations strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish key investor relations messages, target investor audiences, and communication plans.
Financial Communications:
- Prepare and disseminate clear, accurate, and timely financial communications, including press releases, quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, and other materials.
- Assist in the preparation of annual reports, proxy statements, and other regulatory filings.
Investor Relations Activities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, buy-side analysts, and other key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries, meetings, roadshows, and conferences.
Shareholder Engagement:
- Monitor and analyze shareholder ownership and trading activity to identify trends and potential opportunities or risks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective shareholders.
- Coordinate and manage the organization's annual general meeting (AGM) and other shareholder meetings.
Market Intelligence:
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment.
- Monitor and analyze analyst reports, market research, and industry publications to stay informed about market developments and investor perceptions.
Specialized job competencies:
- Proven experience in investor relations, corporate communications, or related roles, preferably in a publicly traded company.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with investors, analysts, and senior executives.
- Solid understanding of securities regulations and compliance requirements, including relevant reporting and disclosure obligations.
Educational Qualification:
- Open to any education or preferred would be MBA Finance from Tier 1 or 2 B School, CA, CFA
Desired Experience:
- 15-18 Years in Investor relations, Private Equity, Funding Rounds preferably in Bank and NBFC segment
