Head Investor Relations & Strategy

Reports to : CFO

- CA or MBA from a premier institute having 8+ years of experience in manufacturing companies.

Critical Accountabilities :

Strategy :

- Develop and articulate the company's overall strategic direction and vision.

- Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis (market intelligence) to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives and action plans.

- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing strategies and recommend wherever improvement is needed.

- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and business development opportunities.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform strategic decision-making.

- Provide guidance and leadership in strategic planning processes and initiatives.

- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to measure the success of strategic initiatives.

Investor Relations Strategy :

- Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy to effectively communicate the company's vision, strategy, financial performance, and growth prospects to the investment community.


- Create and maintain a proactive investor relations program, ensuring alignment with the company's overall corporate strategy and also that the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and all stakeholders.

Communication and Reporting :

- Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.

- Prepare and disseminate earnings releases, investor presentations and other communications and annual reports.

- Develop and deliver consistent messaging to the financial community, including earnings calls, investor conferences, and roadshows.

Financial Analysis and Market Intelligence :

- Analyse financial performance, industry trends, and market dynamics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Monitor and report on shareholder activity and market perceptions.

- Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to inform strategic decision-making.

Stakeholder Engagement :

- Foster and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, equity analysts, and other key stakeholders.

- Coordinate investor meetings, site visits, and conference calls to ensure effective communication and engagement.

- Respond to inquiries from investors and analysts in a timely and accurate manner.

Compliance and Governance :

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to investor communications and disclosures.


- Collaborate with legal, finance, and corporate communications teams to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information.

- Maintain and update investor relations materials in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.

Crisis Management :

- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address potential issues and protect the company's reputation.

- Provide strategic counsel to senior management during crises or significant corporate events.

Qualifications :

- Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance with tier-1 institute with 8-10 years of post qualification experience dealing with Strategy & investor relations in the consumer goods or manufacturing sector and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community and Equity Research Analysts.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and valuation techniques.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in investor relations.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters).
