The position is of Head - Investor Relations, which is primarily responsible for creating and presenting a consistent and clear investment message to the markets / investment community on behalf of the Company. The position requires that the IRM occupies the pivotal position of being the interface of the Company with the public markets at large, including media, regulators and all other stakeholders.
- Establish a process and procedure of Investment relations activities in an organization with good exposure to Public Relations
- As part of the leadership team, become the principal spokesperson of the Company to interact with the media and markets, and the key contact for the investment community
- Develop the Company's investor relations Plan which will inter-alia include a comprehensive competitive analysis, including financial metrics and differentiation
- Prepare presentations, Press Releases, and other communication material for earnings releases, industry events, and presentations to analysts, investors and brokers
- Oversee the preparation of Annual Reports, SEBI filings and proxy statements
- Prepare and continuously update a comprehensive - FAQ / Q&A- list
- Monitor and analyze the - research reports- and summarize them for senior management
- Quarterly (business and financial) conference calls with analysts and with prospective/current investors
- Manage all Corporate communication of the Company including the investor relations portion of the Company's website
- Prepare/support in corporate communications with stakeholders by providing up-to-date information about the company's operations, financial statements to current and potential shareholders, as well as third party equity research analysts.
- Provide support and liaise with stakeholders and investors through events such as press releases and shareholders meeting.
- Be a spokesman and train others within the company on market-related communication, including the regulatory fair disclosure requirements
- Be responsible to analyze financial data, financial modelling and communication/presentation
- Provide feedback of the markets to the Management and enable designing the corporate strategy of the Company
- Make presentations at investor meetings and road shows
Post Graduate in Finance or a Chartered Accountant with 10 years and higher experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge / Experience in heading the department of investor relations in a public limited company.
- Should have command in effective communication and capacity to maintain business relations at the highest level and in influencing decision making
- Ability to work independently, apart from nurturing teams.
- High degree of knowledge on SEBI regulations.
