Summary :

This role involves guiding and leading investment teams, managing all transactions, and maintaining portfolio growth. Responsibilities also include active sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in both Public and Private equities. The chosen candidate will report to and collaborate closely with the General Manager to optimize returns and must be well-versed in GCC and Global investment guidelines, market knowledge, possess stellar communication skills, and uphold a strong work ethic.

KRAs :

- Playing a lead role in the evaluation of various investment opportunities across Public and Private markets in GCC and developed /emerging markets and making clear and well-informed recommendations and proposals to the Investment Committee based on the results of the team's due diligence and analysis.

- Develop, implement, and maintain portfolio policies, strategies (long-term / short term), and processes subsequently recommending changes-based market conditions.

- Monitor financial performance of the holding portfolio and identifying areas that could be improved and organize regular investment reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio studies with strong financial acumen, displaying financial valuations and analysis.

- Monitor external asset managers on their performance and alignment with the family office's investment objectives.

- Analyses potential investment opportunities, subsequently negotiating, structuring, and finalizing of potential investments opportunities across asset classes.

- Participating in research activities, analyzing economic trends, industry developments.

- Oversee and rebalancing of the public equity portfolio, ensuring diversification while optimizing for performance against relevant benchmarks.

- Strong experience leading, supervising, and motivating a team of investment professionals. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, assisting in their professional development.

- Stay abreast of regulatory and tax changes in relevant markets to ensure compliance and optimal structuring of investments

- Represent the organization at industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to foster relationships and gain market insights.

- Work closely with the General Manager to align on investment strategy and execute accordingly.

Desirable Skills :

- 12-18 years' experience, especially in public markets

- Prior experience of working either in family office, Portfolio Management companies, Investment bank or brokerage companies. ( especially on the Buy-side )

- Diverse Portfolio Management

- Public Equity & Private Equity Experience
