Job Title: Head - Investigation

Objective: As the Head of Investigation, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of investigators and ensuring the thorough evaluation and approval of reports concerning cases of Fraud, Attempted Fraud, and Corruption within the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Case Management: Lead discussions to approve the Case Plan Document, ensuring clarity and alignment with investigative objectives.

- Investigation Oversight: Provide guidance and direction to investigators throughout the investigation process.

- This includes reviewing findings and ensuring comprehensive and accurate reporting, particularly for cases that involve significant sensitivity and potential high risk to the bank.

- Risk Assessment: Identify process gaps and control weaknesses that contribute to fraudulent activities.

- Recommend and implement improvements and suggestions to strengthen controls and mitigate risks effectively.

- Closure of Actions: Ensure timely closure of action points identified from various investigation reports, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement necessary corrective measures.

- Performance Monitoring: Work closely with the Management Information Systems (MIS) team to monitor and enforce adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to investigation timelines, quality of reports, and resolution of cases.

- Best Practices: Continuously benchmark investigation processes against industry best practices and standards adopted by peer banks.

- Implement initiatives to enhance investigative efficiency and effectiveness.

- Policy Development: Support the Head of Investigation in the ongoing review, enhancement, and maintenance of the Fraud policy.

- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure policy compliance and relevance.
