Head - International Marketing for a Chain of Hospitals
Job Responsibilities:
Medical Tourism Activities:- Develop medical tourism packages in collaboration with management.
- Create promotional materials, web content, and marketing campaigns.
- Participate in Medical Tourism Expos to boost revenue.
- Establish relationships with healthcare providers for patient referrals.
- Act as a point of contact for international patients.
- Gather patient feedback and report to management.
- Handle patient grievances effectively.
Patient Coordination:
- Oversee and coordinate patient inquiries via telephone and email.
- Provide information about special services through email.
- Assist in collecting medical reports and sending medical advice.
- Facilitate medical visas for patients.
- Create customized packages for stays, treatments, and transfers.
- Coordinate airport pick-ups and hotel check-ins.
Regulatory Compliance:- Ensure compliance with FRO/FRRO guidelines.
- Advise patients to obtain medical visas for surgeries.
- Collect and record passport and visa details.
- Fill online C-Forms for foreign patients.
Management of International Patient Coordination:- Govern partnerships and contracts with medical tourism facilitators (MTFs).
- Register MTF referrals during patient registration.
- Ensure transparency in MTF agreements.
- Manage commissions as per established regulations.
Management of Hospitals for International Patient Coordination:- Establish partnerships with MTFs through official contracts.
- Appoint International Patient Coordination staff within hospitals.
- Coordinate rates with hotels, transport providers, and tour agencies.
- Monitor business from registered MTFs.
- Handle patient inquiries and facilitation.
- Manage MTF commission sheets and payments.
- Organize coordination for visa facilitation.
- Arrange foreign currency exchange services.
Customer Satisfaction and Profitability:- Prioritize customer satisfaction among international patients.
- Maximize profitability within the department.
- Conduct MTF Satisfaction Surveys and improve satisfaction scores.
- Ensure efficient approval and credit billing through international insurance companies.
Interdepartmental Coordination:- Collaborate with various departments, doctors, counselors, and staff.
- Foster cross-functional teamwork with support teams.
- Maintain and analyze weekly, monthly, and yearly statistics for regular reviews.
- Provide academic and operations training to International Patient Coordination Coordinators for enhanced productivity.
