Job Purpose:

To Assist the sector head to ensure effective and comprehensive execution of Audit and Assurance engagements for sector through robust planning, timely reporting and escalation and overall program management to provide assurance on Risk Management process.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Support Sector Head in Implementation of internal audit plan in line with the Internal audit strategy

- Carry out audit as per the defined guidelines / templates and timelines.

- Keep the Sector Head up to date on progress / ensure prompt escalation in case of issues.

- Track progress of the assigned engagements and follow up actions by the process owners.

- Liaise with Auditee / Process owners for discussion on audit findings and clarifications, provide IA related updates to Audit Manager / Sector Head, as and when required

- Liaise with external partner firms for execution of audit engagements, as required to monitor the coverage plan

- Obtain adequate understanding over BU / Function Processes through audit walk-throughs, develop industry specific knowledge and other relevant domain knowledge

- Implement Sampling and Testing procedures as per the Audit checklist, Identify Non - Compliance (Design - Operating Gaps) and score and classify observations in line with Pre-Defined Scales and submit observations along with associated evidence to the Audit Managers for review

- Perform meticulous documentation and record Keeping of the Audit execution and reporting process, leveraging process, Leveraging AMS wherever applicable, Knowledge of Data analytics tools & techniques

Education Qualification: Chartered Accountant Only

Experience Required:

- 10+ years of handling internal Audit and Risk Management

- Big 4, Large corporate experience is required

(Note: Candidate with other background such as Taxation, Accounts and Finance will not be preferable for this position)
