Head - Internal Audit - BFSI

- To be responsible for the preparation of the audit strategy and audit plan (including annual and strategic plans) to optimize the audit coverage that is in line with Banks's and external auditor's risk & compliance requirements. Also, audit scope will include system audits, financial audits, process and regulatory audits related to all departments and functions.

- Plan and conduct audits of all verticals / functions of Bank to assess controls, operational and technical efficiencies and compliance with selected policies, procedures and regulations.

- Design, implement, test and modify controls in systems, to provide assurance of operational and technical efficiency.

- Conduct periodic training workshops to promote awareness of internal controls and discuss changes in policies that will impact the organization with CEO/CRO and leadership team.

- Participate in various committees or task forces geared to policy/procedure development and operational improvements.

- Promote the highest standards of ethics and standards across the organization based on the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence and confidentiality.

- Review the adequacy of key corporate arrangements including such as risk strategy, risk register, anti-fraud and corruption strategy, corporate plan etc.

- Prepare and present accurate internal audit reports for consideration of the audit committee and the Senior Management.

- Report on internal control issues and the implementation of the internal audit plan to senior management, CEO/CRO and Board.

- Responsible to front-end annual financial inspection by RBI.

- Should have the capability to make meaningful suggestions to the auditees and the technology teams.
