The Head Investment & Insurance POD plays a pivotal role within the Organization franchise, and is responsible for driving sales and revenue generation across the Investment & Insurance products offered by the franchise. Working collaboratively with various teams including marketing, distribution, analytics and digital teams across Org and the concerned LOB, this role horizontally owns the P&L generated from Investment & Insurance products.


The Investment & Insurance Program Director is responsible for exploring and evaluating various avenues to increase sales and revenue from Investment & Insurance products by (i) tracking and managing sales funnel efficiency across phygital teams and workflows, policy, operations departments (ii) working with analytics and risk/policy/underwriting/collections to create and increase the pre-approved base (iii) work on cost optimisation of direct costs (iv) analyse opportunity foregone and find the rca and identify mitigation possible (v) be the complementary counter-point for the POD Leader of each LOB

Key Responsibilities:

Product Expertise:


- Develop a deep understanding of the features, benefits, and unique selling points of each Investment & Insurance product offered by Org.

Sales Strategy:


- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive sales strategies tailored to each product, leveraging market insights and customer feedback and work on cost optimisation based on the conversional funnel efficiency of each source.

- Past experience in both sales/distribution and sales design/strategy team would be ideal.

Market Analysis:


- In conjunction with LOB conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities for product growth and differentiation within competitive landscapes.

Distribution Channels:


- Work closely with distribution partners and channels to optimize product visibility and availability, ensuring seamless integration into omni-channel.

- Analytics and Performance Tracking: Utilize data analytics tools and metrics to monitor product performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration:


- Foster strong working relationships with internal teams such as marketing, sales, product development, and customer support to align strategies and maximize sales effectiveness.

Training and Support:


- Provide ongoing training and support to sales teams and partners to equip them with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively promote and sell each product.

Customer Engagement:


- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop customer engagement initiatives such as promotional campaigns, product demonstrations, and events to drive product awareness and adoption.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.

Proven experience in sales, marketing, or product management, with a track record of success in driving revenue growth in BFSI segment.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative sales strategies.

- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

- Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.

- Knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms is a plus.

- This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for driving sales and revenue growth in a fast-paced environment. The Investment & Insurance Program Director will play a critical role in shaping the success of Org's D2C strategy and driving business impact through strategic initiatives.

- Past experience in both sales/distribution and sales design/strategy team would be ideal.
