Role Overview:
The Inside Sales Head will lead a robust Inside Sales Team (IST) of approximately 160 members, reporting directly to the Founders. This role focuses on driving demo bookings and transitioning leads to the field sales team, with a primary objective of meeting ambitious sales targets and scaling the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a large team of 100+ inside sales agents and mid-level managers.
- Lead efforts to book high-ticket demos (typically 50K+), ensure smooth lead handoff to the field sales team, and achieve sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the team through hiring, training, and skill development, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency.
- Track key sales metrics, such as demo bookings, target achievements, and year-over-year growth.
- Cover diverse geographies, adapt sales tactics to different regions, and maximize sales potential across targeted areas.
Desired Experience & Skills:
Experience Range: 6-12 years, ideally 6-9 years in a similar role.
Industry Background: Experience in inside sales within high-ticket environments like EdTech, Insurance, or Banking (loan products).
Product Knowledge: Proven track record of managing sales for high-value products (minimum ticket size 30K+).
Team Management: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing large teams (100+ members), including agents and mid-managers.
Sales Enablement: Strong ability to scale teams through strategic hiring, training, and onboarding.
Target Orientation: Experience in managing and achieving yearly targets, with a focus on demo bookings and revenue generation.
