Head InfoTech - Data Scientist - Sports/Customer Analytics - Cricket Vertical

The desired candidate will be responsible to track the sports analytics and customer analytics for our Cricket vertical.

Skills required :

- Problem-solving : Solution design framework, ability to break down the problem and solve it using data and computing along with an ability to package the solution.

- Deep-dive : Ability to dive deeper into data, ask right questions, triangulate stats and generate insights.

- Core Skills : Optimised querying, building data models which include running random search algorithms like Monte Carlo methods, supervised and unsupervised learning and visualisation skills.

- Communication : Ability to explain complex procedures in simplified yet influential manner to drive clarity and fast adoption.

- Technical skills : Proficiency in any scripting language like R, Python is desirable with a working knowledge in using packages for data manipulation, cleaning and modelling. Knowledge on No SQL databases (Cassandra and Mongo) and Spark is a brownie point.

- Any formal training in topics related to Basic and Advanced Machine learning, Optimisation and Genetic algorithms is highly preferred.
