Job Role :

- Develop and implement the organization's overall IT strategy in alignment with the company's business goals.

- Manage the IT department's budget and allocate resources appropriately.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, department heads, and external partners.

- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

- Recruit, train, and manage IT staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and expertise to support the organization's technology needs.

- Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics to ensure that the organization's IT systems are operating effectively and efficiently.

- Provide strategic guidance to senior executives on technology-related matters.

- Manage the organization's data management and governance processes to ensure data security and compliance.

- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the organization's IT systems.

- Implement and maintain IT service management processes to ensure the timely resolution of user issues and minimize downtime.

- Lead the evaluation and selection of software and hardware vendors, negotiating contracts and service level agreements as needed.

- Develop and oversee the organization's cybersecurity strategy, including implementing appropriate security measures and training staff on cybersecurity best practices.

- Oversee the development and implementation of digital transformation initiatives, including automation and artificial intelligence solutions.

- Ensure that the organization's IT systems comply with relevant privacy regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA.

- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for technology to improve business processes and outcomes.

- Develop and maintain IT disaster recovery plans, testing them regularly to ensure they are effective.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and evaluate their potential impact on the organization's operations and competitive position.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Proven experience in managerial role

- Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure

- Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation

- Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations

- Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- A strong strategic and business mindset

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

- BTech/BSc/BS in computer science, engineering or relevant field; MTech/MSc/MS will be preferred
