Areas of Responsibility Description of responsibility :
Planning/Strategy - 31Q
1. Prepare and present technology roadmap and financial support requirements / budgets to stakeholders, to support both Strategic and process improvement objectives
2. Work closely with functional and business excellence teams in planning for technology needs and associated support services
3. Provide necessary investments and budget inputs for the 31Q plan for IT function
4. Evaluate critical Build versus Buy decisions based on business need, scope of work, cost, and skill requirements
Key functional responsibilities :
5. Provide technological leadership to the IT team. Set strategic direction & lead the IT Function towards meeting current and future information and technology needs of the Company
6. Drive focus on digital technologies and work towards identifying ways to leverage restaurant and digital technologies for creating competitive advantage
7. Encourage adoption of best practices in the field of technology and alignment with global standards and policies
8. Review enterprise systems architecture; approve standards and protocols for data exchange, communications, software and interconnection of information systems
9. Review and govern policies and procedures to ensure the protection of enterprise IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the enterprise
10. Approve new application development projects for various enterprise & application domains and IT acquisition contracts
11. Approve aspects related to the selection, acquisition, deployment of hardware and networking infrastructure
12. Govern IT procurement standards and processes for enterprise software.
13. Guide IT managers in ensuring adherence to procurement and planning requirements, compliance with budget procedures and technological activities of the organization
14. Make certain that solution design and delivery meet business requirements and expectations regarding cost, schedule and scope
15. Closely Track return on investments on IT initiatives
16. Govern implementation of all strategic projects and drive mechanisms to ensure successful implementation. Share project status updates with all key stakeholders and highlight any critical delays / impact
17. Approve selection of external partners for all new digital technologies and strategic vendors for other IT products and services
18. Establish governance mechanisms for close functioning and alignment of IT team with business operations, Marketing and RSG. Essentially enable the IT team towards becoming business partners/ change agents for operations and other functions, Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
19. Establish IT risk assessment frameworks and drive initiatives to achieve operational excellence
20. Monitor feedback on the service standards from the internal customers and devise the action plan to enhance the quality of service / to correct the shortcomings, continually improve operations and streamline work processes
People Management :
21. Set clear and objective goals / key responsibilities for the team
22. Drive performance of team members and provide feedback on an ongoing basis
23. Co-Facilitate identification and delivery of key learning & development goals (functional and behavioral)
24. Actively work on team engagement practices and programs
25. Identify, groom and reward high performers and future leaders in the function
26. Cultivate a culture of excellence and process improvement

Job Requirements:
Educational Qualification : Post-Graduation / MBA / MCA
Specific Certification (if Any): NA
Preferred Total Experience : 12 to 14 Years
Preferred Relevant Experience: 8 - 10 Years with experience in leading IT department
