Head - Information Technology - Logistics

Key Responsibilities

- Technology enhancement to take the organisation from manpower-intensive operations to a semi-auto-driven stage

- Lead IT software roll-outs for the company with a focus on Logistics, Warehouse Management, Transportation and Security and deep knowledge of the Finance and controlling side

- Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the company's broader management team

- Oversee the adherence of policies with internal IT compliances as well as external compliances with relevant laws, guidelines, and regulations imposed by external governments, industries, and organisations

- Lead the development of Logistics and Security related apps for the Company

- Assist in building relationships with Vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts

- Coordinating IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessary.

- 15+ Years of Professional Experience in a MNC with a strong track record of leading software roll-outs

- Deep understanding of the Logistics, Warehousing & Security Industry specialization in implementing Warehouse Management & Transportation Management Systems

- Experience in Change Management & setting up both Hardware & Software IT Infrastructure

- Experience leading a Multi-Cultural, Geographically distributed Team
