Head - Information Technology - Insurance

Hiring for an Insurance company.

Looking for a candidate from an IT company who has experience of managing Applications for Insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities -

- Responsible for managing the end to end application portfolio of the company.

- Oversee, create and manage all activities around Application management; business intelligence, IoT; development platforms; migrating applications to the cloud; IT transformation etc. and be the advisor on the technology roadmap for the future.

- Responsible for Designing and developing business applications, Management of complex business applications and will be supporting all contemporary Digital initiatives of the company.

- Will lead the local technology organization across all Lines of business, operational and/or technological change. Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members and driving the team to provide faster and flexible IT solutions

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in roles of increasing scope and responsibility

- Knowledge of Insurance Sector technology and operations is desired

- Ability to drive continuous improvement in process, people and product

- Should have a proven track record of working across fast emerging technologies including mobility / digital / IoT /reporting systems / analytics / cloud based solutions for global customers.

- Experience in leading transformational change, sustainable and scalable growth.
