- Ensures that information technology & management adds maximum value to the organization, facilitates the success of business and becomes an integral strategic business partner.
- Creating an IT strategy in line with the internal and external stakeholder needs and in keeping up with current best practices in the industry.
- Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies.
- Creating an IT Budget and purchasing efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software. Identify opportunities to optimize cost to have an effective operating cost model for IT.
- Drive 100% customer satisfaction by setting up standard processes to be followed by the end users and ensure ease of operation by the customer.
- Ensuring availability and accessibility of products to appropriate end users (internal and external customers).
- Guide internal teams in reducing customization of standard IT products to avoid errors.
- Building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts and ensuring smooth maintenance of the existing setups.
- Institutionalize risk management mechanisms in line with the larger organizational policy on the same - continuously upgrade the mitigation plans for any threat or risk to security and continuous IT support and services.
- Identifying the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and evaluating with management.
- Streamlines IT support and services across the business.
- Coordinating with the team/ managers and supervising the technicians and other team members to provide guidance.
- Conduct routine reviews of the function's operations to remove bottlenecks and avoid or resolve escalations.
- Ensure that IT complies with the Information Security System Manual and where deviations from the policies are documented and approved where required.
- Ensure all IT staff is updated at least annually on the current state of IT security.
- Ensure any serious IT security incident is reported to the appropriate authority.
- Adapt to last technologies and new learning and skills enhancing.
- Drive a mind-set shift through knowledge sharing activities to enable others to develop a deeper understanding /appreciation for a collaborative/cross functional way of working.
- Educating employees wherever required, to increase the efficiency of systems and reduce the turn-around time of key activities.
- Build a highly motivated & result oriented team that can provide anticipatory services and proactive resolutions to the employees across the organization as well as the customers.
- Responsible for training and developing the team on the latest technology.
