Job Summary:
This position is responsible for Steering the rollout of projects with the accountability of defining scope, setting timelines, analyzing requirements, prioritizing tasks, identifying dependencies and evaluating risks & issues as per pre-set budgets & timelines. Also responsible to manage IT Applications & deliver system solutions through new initiatives & innovations and provide specialized support to ensure smooth functioning & uptime/high availability of these applications & systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and manages detailed project plans and ensures the scope and approach is understood and aligned by all stakeholders
- Defines and implements a detailed delivery approach for each stage of the project lifecycle, obtains acceptance and buy-in
- Focus on enhancing the operational efficiencies, devising innovative solutions and leveraging the IT platform to create business differentiators
- Collaborate with the business Stake holders to assess and recommend technologies that support organizational needs
- Frame the project milestones, resolving issues/escalations, resource allocation and coordination with external vendors/consultants
- Negotiates and influences cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate resourcing levels are engaged and maintained throughout the project life cycle
- Strategizing & driving the projects covering areas of automation/process improvements, performance improvement, capacity upgrades, technology refresh
- Managing complete IT Service Delivery and Aligning Business Process for optimization to generate more revenue with better Performance and Efficiency
- Provide detailed solution design artifacts to support the build and test delivery phases
- Implement mechanisms to monitor, manage and provide progress on all software enhancement activities
- Liaising with vendors and ensure that they deliver high quality service & value, Recognize, monitor, and manage vendor risk to the organization
- Recommend, conceive & implement enhanced tools/processes to streamline daily support requirements and ensure timely resolution of Incident & Tasks and ensure that incidents are assigned, updated and resolved with a high level of quality
Job Requirements:
Qualification - B. Tech. in Computer Science / Post Graduate in Computers
Experience - 12-15+ Years ( Preferably from Banking / NBFCs in Strategic IT Projects )
Functional Competencies:
- Exposure in the end to end project planning, management and implementation;
- Knowledge of NBFC's and its key functions;
- Strong Project Management skills.
