Job Summary
The Head - Information Technology is responsible for ensuring that the IT infrastructure and operations of the Bank is aligned with its strategic goals. This position will be directly be responsible for Bank's IT Infrastructure, Applications & Channels and Data Centre Team. He/She will accompany the Bank's strategy by continuously reviewing the IT strategy and execution plans that ensure the Bank's technology and systems are able to support the business objectives.
Education/Skills/Experience :
- A degree or post graduate degree in Information Technology from a recognized institution
- At least 10 years of working experience in a banking institution in IT department and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Microsoft heavy technology environment, including 5-10 years of practical professional experience in project management
- Experienced with designing, implementing and maintaining SharePoint environments
- Fundamental understanding of web-based systems programming and development
- Proficient with MS Project or similar software and MS Office applications
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams
- Any other systems that may be put in place for the operations of the Bank
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work effectively in a professional manner with technology staff, business stakeholders, end users, management and others outside the organization
- Experience estimating project costs"
