Job Purpose:
- The Head of IT is responsible for leading the information technology strategy and operations for the company.
- Plan, implement and manage the IT strategy and budget in alignment with the company's goals and vision.
- Ensure the security, reliability and performance of the IT infrastructure, systems and applications.
- Supervise and coordinate the IT staff and vendors, and provide guidance and support for their professional development.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our business processes and customer service.
- Manage IT projects and ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with senior management, stakeholders and external partners on IT-related matters.
- Oversee the design, development, implementation and maintenance of IT systems and solutions that support the business objectives and needs of the clients and stakeholders
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and security standards, manage IT budgets and resources, coordinate with external vendors and partners, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the IT team.
As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing the IT strategy and roadmap for the company and aligning with the corporate vision and goals
- Managing the IT budget and resources, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency
- Overseeing the delivery of IT services and solutions for the BFSI clients, ensuring high quality, security and compliance
- Leading and mentoring a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, business partners, vendors and regulators
- Identifying and evaluating new opportunities and technologies to enhance the BFSI division's competitive edge and customer satisfaction
Applications to be handled:
- Must be able to handle LOS(Rapid), LMS(Fin one), Finance(Orion) & HRMS(People Strong). Any additional business requirements as and when added.
Manpower:
- Handle a team of 20 IT Professionals
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field
- At least 12 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the BFSI sector
- Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time, on budget and scope
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments
