We have been mandated for the below mentioned role for a global conglomerate into cement manufacturing.
Main Purpose of the Job:
This role is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the development and execution of the company's IT strategy and portfolio. This position entails leading the establishment of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, enforcing information security and privacy policies, and driving digital transformation initiatives to enhance business capabilities.
Key Result Area:
IT Strategy and Portfolio Management
- Develop and execute the IT strategy and portfolio aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Identify technology trends and opportunities to drive innovation and support organizational goals.
Enterprise IT Infrastructure
- Lead the establishment of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and systems.
Information Security and Privacy
- Enforce policies and procedures to protect IT assets, ensure information security, and safeguard privacy.
- Collaborate with security teams to mitigate risks and respond to security incidents.
Digital Transformation
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance business capabilities, streamline processes, and improve customer experiences.
- Identify and implement digital solutions to achieve operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business requirements and priorities.
- Partner with business leaders to understand needs and deliver technology solutions that drive value.
Application Roadmaps and Development
- Plan application roadmaps and identify opportunities for enhancing operations and meeting business needs.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT applications to support business growth.
Innovation and Industry Trends
- Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization.
Process Optimization
- Play a pivotal role in optimizing IT processes, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
- Implement best practices to enhance IT operations, service delivery, and support.
People Management
- Lead, manage, motivate, and develop team members in order to maximize their contribution to the team, organization, and their own professional development
- Manage the performance and development of staff to create and maintain an effective, motivated team
