Role Objective

This position is responsible to lead, build, manage and ensure adherence to the Tech SLA's, compliance framework and monitor the processes, policies, procedures and standards' applicability, effectiveness, and efficiency. Monitor plans to safeguard the information assets against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs.

Job Responsibilities

As Head - Digital, you will be responsible for the company's overall tech setup - including architecture, cloud migration and major projects over the time axis. You will work closely with the in-house GMs for Infra/DC, Enterprise/ Non-enterprise apps, Analytics across business units and 3rd party apps to ensure organisation tech architecture stability and strength.

The key deliverables will be to collaborate with peers in the organization to bring in best practices and constant innovation to:

- Manage and lead IT/tech functions.

- Develop and oversee the IT budget.

- Plan, guide and oversee deployment of IT systems and operations.

- Manage the organization's software development needs and key projects - S/4HANA, SFA, DMS and CRM to name some.

- Develop IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Stay updated on IT trends and emerging technologies.

- Develop and enforce IT best practices across the organization.

- ensuring IT strategies and processes support company-wide goals.

- Oversee relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.

- Explain to the board of promotors and other executives the benefits and risks of new IT-related projects.

- Ensure adherence to government regulations and guidelines for technological systems and safeguarding of data.

- Analyze system usage and processes to determine how to optimize return on investment, improve information technology systems, and foster business growth.

- Research and forecast emerging computing trends.

- Integrates new software and platforms into existing apps/ systems to ensure that technology is optimized.

- Establish maintenance checks and other technology infrastructure monitoring strategies.

- Communicate technology needs and strategy to promoters and senior directors at the organisation.

- Analyze system usage and processes to determine how to optimize return on investment, improve information technology systems, and foster business growth.

- Ability to design, propagate and popularize differentiated solutions for in-house practices and with customers.

Position Qualification

- 5+ years of management experience with direct engagement with executive leadership/promoters.

- Stakeholder management in a global setting with 3+ years of responsibility in either managing P&L or budgeting/spending decisions in a cost-conscious manner.

- Experience in setting or operating incident response functions involving internal / partner teams.

- Knowledge of Risk Management practices including NIST, CIS, Cloud Controls and security frameworks.

- SME in at least 3 of the above domains.

- Proficient technical & business communication skills

- Ability to decide & act in ambiguity.

- Plan & operate with an agile mindset.

- Strategic thinking and tech planning skills.

- Experience designing and developing and managing core enterprise apps like S/4HANA, Salesforce, etc.

- Experienced in Infra/DC operations, network design and cybersecurity setup for mid to larger tiers.

- Clear understanding of the IT cost - budget and actuals, how to optimize/roadmap components YoY.

- Understanding of data analysis, business principles, and operations with a user focus lens.

- Lead in-house teams, customer interactions, technical delivery ownership, and willingness to learn emerging technologies and drive build next-generation solutions.

- Problem-solving, ability to improvise and find workarounds.

- Adaptability and curiosity.

- Mentoring skills to frame a stable tech organization.

- Quick adaptation to company-specific processes and BU-wise understanding.

- Project management and interpersonal strengths with big-picture thinking.

- Integrity and trustworthiness with confidential data.

- Sound understanding of the current/future projects and roadmap and IT cost budget.

- Ability to be a mentor, problem solver and provider of alternative solutions.

- Well-connected in the industry. Take an active part in Technical Forums / Fraternity / Associations / Group meetings / Symposiums/leadership lectures.

- Should be able to travel to client and Business units, if required.

Education Qualification

15-18 years with a mix of application deployments - S/4HANA, CRM, SFA, Analytics, Infra/ DC operations, Cloud migrations, Security operations with SIEM, Identity & Access Management Solutions, End Point Security Solutions & Data Loss Prevention Solutions, Deep Learning, User-behavior Analytics and Hardware Authentication.
