Head - Information Technology

Key Responsibilities

- Accountable for new Retail stores IT Setup and Delivery & Service delivery with all IT setup (RFID, LAN, WAN setup, VPN connectivity, IT assets procurements, Server's installations, Backup, logs monitoring and halt check-ups, POS Machine installations with require applications.

- Build a Technology team that will be responsible for full stack of development, data, and analytics.

- Providing technical direction & guidance to the Product and Engineering Team. Helping them in building the team, setting up the KRAs, policies & processes.

- Building data sanity module to ensure data consistency. Capture and collate data across clickstreams, impressions and databases like mongo and MySQL into a data warehouse.

- Use the above data to generate relevant business dashboards that help in key business decisions.

- Developing Technology Architecture that improves key website parameters and is robust for further scale-up.

- Designing and implementing a product note for automating information flow across various departments.

- Work in a consultative fashion with other department heads, such as marketing, production, and operations as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.

- Automating tasks for improved productivity across businesses for e.g., Warehouse processes, customer refunds, key data metrics.

- Use Machine Learning to build product recommendation engines, personalize website pages/ product widgets.

- Design and implement changes to the website to improve the overall UI/UX and website conversions.

- Integrating APIs with key business service provides to aid seamless flow of information across all channels.

- Managing Data centres, Corporate office all Server, Networks Internet, Lease line, MPLS, Central UPS, Vendor monuments, AMC for PAN India IT Assets, IT Procurements,

- Managing and troubleshooting Windows including Active Directory, DHCP servers, OU security, File server, Network printers.

- Analysing business needs and spearheading initiatives regarding establishment of IT infrastructure including procurement of hardware and software

- Responsible and accountable for the UAT (internal & external) once the provisioning of the assets is completed

- Implementing strategies for building team effectiveness by promoting a spirit of cooperation between team members; monitoring performance & providing feedback on areas of improvement

Skills:

- 10-15 years of experience in hands-on technical management. At least 3-5 years of experience in Engineering team in an e-commerce set-up.

- B. Tech in Computer Science from IITs/NITs.

- Tech expertise in Open Source/ PHP, My SQL, Java, JS, HTML, CSS3, Cloud Platform, Integration, Big Data

- Skills: iOS, my sql, jQuery, java, html, cloud platform, big data.

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Ability to actively communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff.

- Self-starter and ability to work in unstructured environments.

- Multitasking ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment under pressure.

- Strong writing and presentation skills.
