Position: Head - Information and Physical Security

Client: R and D centre of a Product Company.

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 14 + years

Educational Qualification: 60 % all through

Certification: CISA/CISSP

- Part of India Leadership team and responsible for IT and Information security function

- Establish Information Security & Data Privacy policies and processes across Subsidiary.

- Managing Information Security compliance exceptions / deviations with calculated business Risk and provide secure alternative solution

- Conduct Information Security risk assessments of third party associations & vendors. Implementation of strong compliance systems for data security.

- Data Privacy applicability analysis and Privacy requirements for Business applications.

- Conduct Information Security Audits; which include Servers, PC, Network, End points & Application security.

- Develop and disseminate information security & Privacy awareness trainings and Compliance programs for all employees including senior executives.

- Interface with stakeholders to adhere privacy standards related to the collection, storage, usage and safe disposal of personal data after usage.

- Participate in security incidents investigations and report to local management & Information Security Center.

- Enforce HQ Security policies and continuously conduct assessment to find out gaps and communicate to relevant function unit head for remediation.

- Responsible for conducting Information Security Risk assessments for Organization to identify prioritize and plan mitigation information security risks.

- Analyze the applicability of Privacy requirements for business applications; mitigate business risks by enforcing privacy policies, controls and processes.

- Identify emerging threats and map to exiting security controls to evaluate effective risk mitigation.

- Oversee global information security consulting (internal) engagements in multiple domains.
