Devising remuneration policies, including pay packages for newly hired employees and executing the same.
Registrations and discussions with Professional Tax, Inspector of Factories, Labour Department, ESI, PF etc.
Holding discussions &negotiations with the unions. Taking necessary disciplinary actions, finalizing Memorandum of Settlements etc.
Responsible for formulating the policy and directing the HR Managers for industrial relations activities of organization: Formulates policy for subordinate managers of departments, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee services, according to knowledge of company objectives, government regulations, and labor contract terms.
Writes directives advising department managers of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
Keep track of negotiations and workmen grievance from all HR managers across the group of companies.
Ensure harmonious workmen-management relations are maintained across locations.
Responsible for Writing and delivering presentation to corporate officers or government officials regarding industrial relations policies and practices.
Leads company compliance with all existing governmental and labour legal requirements.
Directs the HR managers in preparation of information requested or required for compliance with laws. Serves as the primary contact with the company employment law attorney and outside government agencies
Handling the complete IR and HR function of the plant. Very strong exposure in wage settlement and IR matters is mandatory for the position.
Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends
Consults legal staff to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.

POST GRADUATION MBA/PGDM (HR/Industrial Relations) MSW and Labor law & Practice
