- Create harmonious working relationship between the union and the management by understanding the concerns of the union and tactfully negotiating and managing labour contracts with the union to ensure operations does not suffer due to labour issues.
- Create working environment which is conducive for good team work and help individuals perform to the best of their capability to build and retain a capable & a motivated team.
- Legal matters and regulations by ensuring compliance to all legal requirements such as the factories act and other governing labour laws and environmental regulations to allow smooth functioning of operations and adherence to all legal requirements.
- Long Term Wage Settlements - Led closure of Long Term Wage & Productivity Settlements with both Union, multiple unions and Non Unionised setups, data analysis and writing of LTWS document learnt the ropes of negotiations.
- Develop and execute progressive employee relations strategy that meets the needs of business units.
- Analyse and interpret the current employee relations climate in and around the organization and to understand their impact on the business and prepare the organization for future.
- Guide and train the factory HR managers and the DHQ on employee relations, disciplinary proceedings and compliance to ensure adherence to statutory & regulatory compliance.
