About our Client - Our client is a large (3000 crore +) Indian Organization in the Chemical space. They employ over 10,000 employees and have 10 sites with multiple plants in each site. Operations majorly exist in the Gujarat region. They are looking for a Head of Industrial Relations to be base din Gujarat.
Job Description: Reporting into the Director of Supply chain and Head of HR, your responsibilities will include:
- Person should be from manufacturing industry only
- Should be well-versed with all Statutory Compliances related to Factory act, Labor Laws, Industrial Disputes Act.
- Contract Labor Management and Welfare.
- Union Negotiations and managing large scale union settlement
- Experience in Handling Strikes / Lockouts in manufacturing locations
- Would be responsible for all Plants across India.
- Should maintain good Industrial relations with the workers and Unions.
The Successful Candidate:
- You will come with 18-22 years of total experience in Industrial Relations.
- Exposure to managing multiple plants across multiple locations and experience of working in very large organizations (2,000 crore+) is required for this role.
- Experience in managing unionized workforce and experience in successful management of long term and large scale settlements is essential for this role.
- Knowledge of Gujarati (both written and oral) is compulsory.
