Location: Initially based in Delhi, with potential for overseas postings (UAE, Germany, Zambia, South Africa, and others).

Key Responsibilities:

- Sourcing: Identify and establish relationships with suppliers, producers, and end-users of ferro alloys, cored wires, and other raw materials for the steel and metal industry. Evaluate the quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness of products.

- Export & Import: Coordinate and manage the importation and exportation of goods, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, INCO terms, and company policies.

- Market Analysis: Monitor global market trends, competition, and potential opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to drive the company's strategic objectives.

- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.

Act as the main point of contact for overseas clients, managing inquiries, negotiations, and contracts.

- Sales and Business Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share in existing markets. Achieve sales targets and business development goals.

- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all trade activities comply with international laws and regulations. Prepare and review documentation required for international trade transactions in close coordination with Compliance (legal), logistics, and finance departments.

- Logistics Coordination: Work closely with the logistics team to ensure efficient and cost-effective inspection, transportation, and shipment of goods.

- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on trade activities, market conditions, and performance metrics for senior management.

Candidate Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Trade, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in international trade, preferably within the steel and metal industry.

- Skills:

- Strong analytical acumen with a flair for business development by maintaining good relationships with both suppliers and buyers.

- Strong understanding of sourcing, export, and import processes.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with trade-related software and tools.

- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.

- Flexibility to relocate or travel internationally as required.

Additional Information:

- Deserving single candidates posted at the Delhi office can be provided with bachelor accommodation.

- Candidates may be assigned to either procurement or sales aspects of supply chain management, depending on their skills and business requirements.
