Position: Head - Head - Human Resources

Reporting To: Head - Central Leadership Team

Department : Human Resources

Experience: 10+ years of experience in Human Resource function of similar industry

Location: Navi Mumbai

CTC: Industry Leading (Benchmarking TBD)

Minimum qualifications:

- MBA (HR) / MSW or equivalent from a top tier institute

Job Details:

- Develop and implement an integrated people strategy and delivery framework aligned to the overall business strategy

- Consult with the top management on people strategies and talent needs

- Facilitate an understanding and gain approval of the Human Resources strategy with top management

- Continuously keeps abreast of organizational objectives to ensure that the optimal organisation structure is in place to meet organizational objectives

- Creates a high performance culture and an enabling environment through alignment of business requirements and individual goals

- Formulate internal people policies and procedures across the organization

- Develop fit-for-purpose HR policies, products and tools, as required by the business, leveraging knowledge of market benchmarks, best practices and trends

- Initiate and maintain excellent relationships with key external vendors supplying search and recruitment services, training facilitation, remuneration and specialist advice on organizational development

- Create compensation policies in line with industry standards

- Advice and mentor senior management on all matters of employee sourcing, performance management and termination procedures.

- Manage selection and recruitment model tailored to the philosophies and values of the organisation

- Ensure the company’s obligations to occupational health and safety, privacy, monitoring laws, workers compensation remain compliant.

Industry Knowledge:

- Strong understanding of digital payments industry dynamics, including talent market, talent development and needs of employees.

Functional Knowledge:

- Management of a professional HR team of skilled Generalists and Administrators.

- Designed and implemented best practices for a Human Resources function in a similar environment.

- Experience in establishing and leading Human Resources department in a high-growth, start-up environment.

- Ability to translate business strategy into cost-effective, high-quality human resource practices

Leadership Capabilities:

- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams (internal & external)

- Thrive in an environment of continuous change and complexity – can drive quality insights, deliver high impact projects and work independently

- Recognised as a credible business partner capable of gaining the respect of executive-level priorities

- Demonstrate a collaborative style and have worked across a diverse range of business units.

Position Summary:

- Lead the Human Resource function to build and maintain a proactive and strategically aligned organization

- Responsible for all facets of Human Resources including workforce planning, recruitment and on-boarding, strategic resourcing, performance management, learning and development, culture building, change management, employee engagement and compliance for the organisation.

Supervisory responsibilities:

- Teams reporting to the Head - Human Resources include HR functional team

- Department size: Approximately 2 direct reports
