Job Responsibilities:
Policy and procedures:
- To design, develop, prepare and maintain policies and procedure manuals for the smooth operations of all functions of the company.
- To conceptualize, create and ensure implementation of these policies, to launch new initiatives
- Responsible for conducting termination and exit interviews
Employee relations:
- To effectively handle and address employee grievances
- To undertake disciplinary actions, counseling of employees and documenting the cases
- To monitor leaves of absence and approve the same after the functional head and ensure policy implementation
HR Compliances :
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and employment laws
- To proactively maintain cordial relations with all government, state and central authorities which impact the business and regulate it
Performance Management System :
- To design a competitive performance based appraisal system and ensure its fair implementation in letter and spirit
- To design 360 degree performance assessment module linking performance evaluation to business goals
- To develop world class coaching mechanism and develop internal coaches for performing appraisal
- To ensure timely and correct disbursements of increments and incentives
- To develop / update processes to check and minimize grievances
- To train line managers to ensure fair, just and objective appraisal
Management Information System:
- To create standardized templates for information system and creating reports like monthly attrition, joining, vacancies, employee graph
- To document all relevant information and prepare monthly analysis reports.
- Responsible for development and implementation of HRMS system across the organization.
Welfare:
- To ensure the change management is implemented smoothly
- To proactively create open channels of communication and expression for all employees
- To transform the workplace into an enjoyable workplace and translate the business goals
- To create and maintain transparent grievance handling methods and ensure the implementation
Compensation and benefits:
- To ensure implementation of Compensation policy and procedure in timely and correct fashion
- To stay abreast with the state and central legislation to incorporate the new regulations and cater to the needs of a diverse workforce
- To deliver the designed benefits package and ensuring speedy clearances of loans, medical claims etc
- To plan, design and develop changes / new recommendations for designing incentive schemes.
