Designation : Vice President of Human Resources

Job Brief:

We are looking for a competent Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) to direct and oversee and manage the Company's staff strength in a manner that supports its mission and strategy. This position has high accountability and reports directly to the Directors/CEO. We want candidates who exhibit strong leadership skills, are able to think strategically, effectively manage people, have strong inter-personal skills, have the requisite domain expertise and experience, and are problem-solvers.

Sector: Real Estate and Construction Organization with more than 400 employees

Responsibilities:

a. Work with the Organization's leadership to develop, hone and execute a talent acquisition and management plan which enables the achievement of the Organization's vision and mission.

b. Develop strategic HR plans and policies (recruitment, training, compensation etc.) Implementing & driving a performance management system and appraisal cycle for the employees which is strongly merit based and designed to reward performing employees.

c. Talent acquisition including campus recruitment. This should include fit analysis, job description, headcount evaluation, acquisition strategy and joining protocols.

d. Payroll Management and statutory compliances

e. Managing employee cycle from onboarding to exit

f. Digitization of the entire HR operation

h. Assume responsibility of labor and employee relations including grievance redressal

i. Re-engineer processes to ensure maximum efficiency

j. Analyze the effectiveness of HR operations and policies and amend those which are not appropriate for the Organization and its goals.

k. Prepare reports for the CEO using business metrics and KPIs

Be responsible for employee morale and well-being and effectively work with the management of the Organization to address any issues which may pose a threat to the same.

Requirement / Qualifications:

a. Minimum 4-5 years' experience as VP of HR in a large organization (multinational service sector experience is preferred)

b. Experience in strategic planning and implementation

c. Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment etc.)

d. Ability to use metrics and analytics

e. Knowledge of local labor law

f. Working knowledge of MS Office & other office tools

g. Aptitude in communicating and public speaking

h. Well-organized with excellent leadership qualities

i. Sound knowledge of Indian taxation system

j. MBA or equivalent degree from reputed university in Human Resources.
